The Project
Our team transformed this property on Wyresdale Close in Stoke-on-Trent with a completely new block paved driveway, designed to provide an attractive, practical and long-lasting entrance to the home.
The customer wanted a traditional paved finish with plenty of character while still complementing the existing property. Abbey Sett paving in Orchid Flame Tegula was selected for the main driveway, providing a warm blend of tones and a distinctive aged appearance.
Charcoal Border Detail
To give the driveway a strong, defined finish, we installed a charcoal paving border around the perimeter.
The darker charcoal blocks contrast beautifully with the Orchid Flame paving, framing the driveway and giving the finished installation a clean and professional appearance.
Preparation & Installation
The existing driveway area was excavated and prepared with a suitable sub-base to create a strong foundation for the new paving.
The area was carefully levelled and compacted before the Abbey Sett paving was laid to the agreed pattern. The charcoal border was incorporated to define the edges and provide a crisp transition between the driveway and surrounding areas.
Once all paving was installed, the surface was finished and compacted to create a stable, even driveway ready for everyday vehicle use.
The Finished Driveway
The combination of Orchid Flame Tegula Abbey Setts and a charcoal paving border has completely transformed the front of the property.
The warm tones of the main paving add character, while the contrasting charcoal border provides definition and a smart finishing detail.
